About Baracuda Diving in Kenya
Baracuda Diving is the oldest SCUBA diving operation in Kenya, teaching people how to dive since 1978. The team facilitates deep see diving exposing divers to over 20 million tropical marine life. Leaving Kenya without taking a dip in the Indian Ocean, is like visiting Italy and not trying the pizza – outrageous! Trust us to introduce you to all our underwater residents – from the gentle giants – the whale sharks – to the smallest and most colourful of nudi branches, and to most, if not all, 20 million tropical marine fish in the area. On every dive you will find yourself swimming among shoals of fish and floating above breathtakingly beautiful hard and soft corals. In addition Kenya is one of the few places in the world where there is a 90% chance of seeing reef sharks plus the biggest fish in the sea, the whale shark. Whale sharks are particularly impressive as the cruise slowly through the water feeding their 10 meter bodies with the plentiful plankton.
Water visibility is good and can range from 10 to 30 metres. Temperatures never go below 25°c and in the summer can reach up to 30°c . This combination provides an exquisite diving experience.

Dive Seasons
Optimal diving takes place between the months of November and April of each year. You can expect pleasant weather, the best visibility and an abundance of sea life during this period. Outside of this season is the rainy season which provides for a poor diving experience, so be sure to take make the most out of your Christmas holiday break and come dive with us!
