Friends School Kamusinga is a boys-only boarding National secondary school located in Kimilili Constituency, Bungoma County. The school was established by Allan Bradley, who was a British, in 1956. Bradley became the first school Principal. For more information, please check the contacts below;

Friends School Kamusinga aims to prepare students to make a positive contribution to the development of the society and to acquire the values of national patriotism, self-respect, self-reliance, cooperation, adaptability, a sense of purpose and self-discipline.

Friends School Kamusinga is classified as a public secondary school and is funded by the government of Kenya and managed through a board of governors and parent-teacher associations (PTA).

Secondary School education in Kenya starts at 14 years of age and runs for four years. Upon completion, students sit for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE). This prepares them for university, colleges, middle-level trades, professions, vocational and technical training.

School Curriculum

The secondary school curriculum in Kenya covers six major areas:

  1. Mathematics.
  2. Communication: English, Kiswahili, and foreign languages),
  3. Science: Physical Science and Biological Science.

Friends School Kamusinga  KCSE Results

Individual candidates can check their KCSE results by SMS or online using an SMS number or website link provided at the release of the exam. Candidates and parents should visit the school for their official results slip. Results for all candidates and the school national, county and local ranking can also be found from the schools’ office.

The ministry of education advises parents teachers and pupils to check the KCSE result slip for any anomaly such as incorrect candidate’s name, school name and code as well as wrong subject grade and report to KNEC within a month after the announcement.

Friends School Kamusinga History

Friends School Kamusinga or (FSK) popularly known as Kamu/Frischka is a Kenyan Quakers National High School established in 1956 & located in Kimilili, Bungoma County, Kenya. The school is located 400 kilometers from Kenya’s capital city, Nairobi, Kenya. It is ranked among the top schools nationwide in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education and has many notable engineering and political divides in Kenya.

Friends School Kamusinga or (FSK) popularly known as Kamu/Frischka is a Kenyan Quakers National High School established in 1956 & located in Kimilili, Bungoma County, Kenya. The school is located 400 kilometers from Kenya’s capital city, Nairobi, Kenya. It is ranked among the top schools nationwide in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education and has many notable alumni across business, creative arts, sports, engineering and political divides in Kenya.

Kamusinga is regarded as an academic and extra-curricular giant for its performance in National examinations and Nationwide extra-curricular competitions of field hockey, basketball, Science Congress, drama and music festival competitions over the years

The school continues to maintain relations with members of the Allan Bradley family such as Ruth Bradley and Peter Bradley who find possible ways to support the school whenever possible.

The school further keeps him in memory by holding an annual intra-school sports tournament ‘Allan Bradley’s Day’, held on 18 February of every year. The first Allan Bradley’s Day Tournament was on 18 February 2006.​
